Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam Featuring Full Force – I Wonder If I Take You Home
Brooklyn native Lisa Velez went in to audition for the hit-making production band, Full Force. Little did Velez know that this audition would lead her to dance-pop history as lead singer in a 1980s band.
The group was formed and produced by a six-man production team known as Full Force. Although originally Lisa Velez had auditioned for the production team, Full Force loved her sound and decided she was a perfect fit for a new dance pop band.

Full Force recorded “I Wonder If I Take You Home” with her and then added their roadie, Mike Hughes (drummer/keyboardist) and his friend Alex Moseley (guitarist/bassist) to form Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam.

Together they scored million-selling hits with dance-based tracks like “I Wonder if I Take You Home”, beautiful ballads “All Cried Out”, and pop hits like “Head to Toe” and “Lost in Emotion”. They were one of the early exponents of what later became hip-hop R&B.
“I Wonder If I Take You Come” crossed genres; gaining notice in the dance, disco and R&B charts. Get up and dance along to this dance pop classic!
